In the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray, the fifth petition is: “And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” And lest there be any ambiguity about it, immediately after giving the seven petitions to the prayer, Jesus offers this commentary in Matthew 6:14- 15...
