“Wake up, Daddy. We have to go,” the wife spoke to her husband as labor pains now regular were in earnest. They were expecting for the first time. Over the course of the nine months, he had been dreaming often of this day. He was going to be a daddy! They both already knew it was a little boy. They had decided on his name. And in his dreams the son-to-be father was picturing the boy’s first steps, playing catch with him, and teaching him to ride a bicycle. They were pleasant dreams.
