In this Season of Easter we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ even as we contemplate the joyous implications Christ’s rising from the dead has for our lives. Scripture describes Christ’s Resurrection as “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” In other words, as Christ was raised from the tomb, baptized believers can look forward to sharing in a resurrection like His.
