Maundy Thursday Agape Feast

Maundy Thursday is a commemoration of the night that Jesus was betrayed; the night before his crucifixion. Maundy is a derivation of the Latin word for "command", in remembrance of Jesus' new commandment from John 13:34 – "A new commandment I give unto you: That you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another." We also commemorate Jesus' washing of His disciple's feet, and the institution of His Holy Supper.

We will enjoy an "Agape Feast", including traditional elements of the Jewish Seder meal. During the Meal there will be readings, hymns, and Holy Communion. The meal will remind us why the upcoming Easter Feast is called Pascha, or the Passover...
